    Oleochemical Supply Questions

Titre, TFM and glycerine purity questions answered, plus lot documents, trial samples and delivery form.

    Products

    1

Which fatty acids, glycerine grades and soap noodles does Bio Green Oleo supply?

Our range covers fatty acids, glycerine, soap noodles, palm kernel fractions, castor derivatives and surfactant intermediates for soap, cosmetic, rubber and lubricant makers. Each product page shows typical uses; grade, pack and availability are then set out in the offer.
    2

Can you match stearic acid or soap noodles to our titre, IV or TFM limits?

Yes. Send the limits your line runs on: titre, iodine value, acid or saponification value, colour and moisture, plus TFM and blend ratio for soap noodles. We check sources against those numbers and write the agreed limits into the offer as contract values, not typical figures.
    3

How do we verify USP, cosmetic-grade or RSPO claims for an oleochemical?

Ask for documents covering the exact material, source and grade. Pharmaceutical, cosmetic or sustainability claims require applicable evidence; they should not be assumed from the product name or feedstock.

    Ordering

    1

How large must a first stearic acid, glycerine or soap noodle order be?

Minimums are set per grade, source and pack: molten stearic acid in a heated ISO tank, glycerine in drums or IBCs and bagged flakes in a container are quoted differently. Tell us the trial size and annual tonnage; the offer then states the smallest lot that source accepts.
    2

What details speed up a stearic acid or glycerine quotation?

Name the product and grade (say 1842 stearic acid or USP refined glycerine), your titre, IV or TFM limits, end use, delivery form, yearly volume and destination port. If your QC already approves a COA from another source, attach it so we can match it.
    3

How are payment terms set for a bulk oleochemical order?

Method, currency and payment timing are set out in each offer and then fixed by the sales contract, so a trial lot and a contract volume may carry different terms. If you are told our bank details have changed, confirm that by telephone on a number you have used before.

    Shipping

    1

Do you ship oleochemicals to our country and discharge port?

Name the discharge port or inland delivery point. Bio Green Oleo then checks the route, import paperwork and Incoterms that suit the product's form: a molten cargo needs a receiver with heated storage, while flakes, beads and drums move as ordinary container freight.
    2

How long does an oleochemical shipment take to arrive?

It depends on whether the source holds the grade or must schedule a production run, how quickly your QC approves the lot documents, and the sailing. The offer names the expected loading window; plan your line around that window rather than a typical transit time.
    3

How are molten, liquid and solid grades stored and shipped?

Solid grades such as flakes, beads and bagged soap noodles move as ordinary container freight and are kept dry. Glycerine and other liquids go in drums, IBCs, flexitanks or ISO tanks. Large users can take stearic acid molten in heated tankers, which needs a receiver with heated storage. The offer states the pack and any heating needs.

    Technical

    1

Which lot documents come with stearic acid, glycerine or soap noodles?

Each nominated grade comes with the source's current specification, a lot or representative COA and an SDS for the delivered form. A TDS, a vegetable or tallow feedstock declaration and any RSPO, halal or kosher paperwork are supplied only where the producing site issues them for that grade.
    2

Can we run a plant trial before committing to a new source?

Often, where the producer can release trial material. Send the grade, trial quantity and lab or plant address; we confirm whether a sample can be released, what it costs and how it travels before it is sent, so you can check cure time, bar texture or emulsion viscosity first.
