About This Product
This is a laundry base made from refined, bleached and deodorised (RBD) palm oil, the only oil base its data sheet names. It is specified at a total fatty matter of 55% min with moisture allowed up to 30%. The sheet limits either free acidity, at 2% max as palmitic acid, or free alkali, at 0.2% max as NaOH. Salt is 0.8% max as NaCl and glycerine 1% min. Matter insoluble in alcohol may reach 10%, while matter insoluble in water and free oil are each held to 1% max. The titre range is 42–47 °C.
Laundry soap bars are the application named on the data sheet. A low fatty-matter level with a generous water allowance is typical of hard washing bars for household and hand laundry, into which the finisher may work fillers, colour or perfume before plodding and stamping.
Packing is given as 25 kg paper-laminated bags or 600 kg big bags. Keep the noodles sealed in a cool, dry and aerated store, within the temperature limit shown on the data sheet. Check whether the free acidity or the free alkali limit applies to the lot offered, obtain the SDS, the current data sheet and a certificate of analysis, and confirm by trial that the noodles suit the intended bar formulation.
