腰果壳液（CNSL）

腰果壳液（通常缩写为 CNSL）提取自腰果（Anacardium occidentale）果壳内部的海绵状蜂窝层。其 CAS 号为 8007-24-7，以深棕色黏稠液体供应，气味刺鼻。由于取自果壳而非果仁，它是腰果加工的真正副产品，而非为化工用途专门种植的作物。
商业上有两种形态，二者不可互换。天然（冷榨）CNSL 以腰果酸为主，通常约占 70%，另含腰果二酚和较少的腰果酚。工业级 CNSL 通过焙烧果壳制得，焙烧使腰果酸脱羧生成腰果酚，因此工业级富含腰果酚。上述组分均为带有十五个碳原子不饱和侧链的烷基酚，而这条侧链正是 CNSL 价值所在：它使衍生树脂天然具备石油基苯酚树脂所不具备的柔韧性和耐热性。该液体在未加工状态下因酚类含量而具有皮肤刺激性，须采取适当的操作防护。
用于生产腰果酚和 CNSL 基酚醛树脂、制动器与离合器摩擦材料、铸造型芯粘结剂、表面涂料、环氧固化剂、层压板及特种中间体。
